Ed began his aviation career in the US Air Force earning his wings at Vance AFB flying T-37's & the supersonic T-38 Talon trainer. Continuing with the Alaska Air National Guard, he commanded tactical C-130's in the global tactical airlift mission transitioning to the HC-130 as a Combat Rescue Aircraft & Mission Commander resulting in 19 lives saved to his credit. 'Cutting his teeth' in the severe weather and terrain environment of Alaska prepared him well to continue on becoming an MD-11 Captain with one of the largest global Part 121 air carriers in the world. His experience helped earn him the CEO Air Safety Award for aircrew, a testament to his professionalism and knowledge.

Terry began a brilliant career at the US Air Force Academy subsequently earning his wings at Reese AFB, TX having flown the venerable T-37 and T-38 'Talon' supersonic trainer. Following an initial T-37 Instructor Pilot (IP) assignment, his career landed him in one of the most storied of aircraft, the A-10 'Warthog', flying in Europe and S. Korea. His knowledge & experience vectored him into the F-117 'Stealth Fighter', the aircraft he distinguished himself in during Desert Storm 1990. Following various staff tours and a stint as a T-38 Instructor with the 560 FTS, Terry eventually was given the honor of leading the famous USAF Advanced Instrument School. Retiring from the USAF, Terry since became a Boeing 727 Captain and MD-11 pilot with one the largest Part 121 air carriers in the world.
